Please contact , Executive Director of Mr. Gay if you are an interested producer or a potential contestant who would like to participate in the 2006 contest series...and perhaps you can join us in Palm Springs in 2006 as a licensed producer or certified Finalists for this historic gathering of men from around globe!

Congratulations to Joey Siesholtz, the winner of the Mr. Gay LA competition during the Gay Life Expo on Sunday, September 25, 2005. WeHo Councilman Jeff Prang, Venture Capitalists John Robison and Michael Barton, Modeling Agency owner Patrick Simpson and Couture Designer Pol Atteu judged the competition. Both Mr. Gay San Francisco, Blair Shepard, and Mr. Gay San Diego, Jesse Bashem, performed while MC Lambert kept everyone laughing and in great spirits. Congrats, too, for Ewan French from Scotland who won 1st Runner up!! Joey went on to the national competition in Palm Springs over the weekend of October 7-9, 2005.

Congratulations to Mike Wasileski, the winner of the Mr. Gay New York competition at SBNY on September 24, 2005. HX entertainment editor Brandon Voss, Gilbert Baker, Randy Jones and Will Clark judged the competition. The contestants were hot and talented and varied. A huge congrats to all the guys who got out there and gave it there all! The Naked Boys Singing (www.nakedboyssinging.com) performed (yum) as did Keo Nozari, who tore the place up! Congrats to John Henry Rew and Nomi DeMile for producing and hosting such a great event!! Mike went on to the national competition in Palm Springs the weekend of October 79, 2005.

The 2nd Annual San Francisco Mr. Gay Contest will be produced in early 2006, again by Don Spradlin. Stay tuned for details on location, dates and how to enter. There will be a casting call for candidates who are interesting in participating.
The first San Francisco Contest was completed in the fall of 2004. The San Francisco Contest was produced by and Josh Quinn with the PR support of contest MC, and MTV Real Worlds Coral Smith.
